Chaney Cowboys (Youngstown, OH) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Southern Indians (Salineville, OH), 23-12 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Chaney improves its record to 11-7 on the year. The Cowboys host Ursuline (Youngstown, OH) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. The Fighting Irish enter the game with a record of 5-13. Ursuline lost 8-3 in their recent non-league game against Mathews (Vienna, OH)
