Virginia High School Softball - William Campbell bounces George Washington
May 8, 2025: Naruna, VA 24576 In Thursday's non-league match, the host William Campbell Generals softball team scored a tight 7-0 win over the George Washington Eagles.
The Generals (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Dogwood match with a 7-7 record. In their last match, Chatham nipped Halifax County (South Boston, VA), 7-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 12. George Washington will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record.
