Illinois High School Baseball - Aurora Christian holds off Lisle

The Aurora Christian Eagles baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Lisle Lions to 7 in the Eagles non-league win on Friday.

The Eagles now own a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they host Marian Central Catholic for a Chicagoland Christian test on Saturday, May 9. Aurora Christian will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 3-2 league win over Northridge (Niles, IL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 3-15.

With the defeat, Lisle drops to 5-17 on the year. The Lions travel to Peotone (Peotone, IL) to play the Blue Devils in a Illinois Central Eight test on Monday, May 11. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 3-17. Peotone lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Beecher (Beecher, IL)
