The Northmor Golden Knights overwhelmed the host Elgin Comets softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Golden Knights meet the Clear Fork Colts (Bellville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 9. Northmor will attempt to upgrade on its 14-9 season record. The Colts go into the challenge with a 18-6 record after their 15-14 league loss to River Valley (Caledonia, OH).

The Comets (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Perry (Lima, OH). The Commodores go into the Northwest Central challenge with a 0-11 record. In their last challenge, Perry was routed by Continental (Continental, OH), 27-1, in a non-league challenge.
