Pacelli Cardinals (Stevens Point, WI) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI), 6-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Pacelli upgrades its record to 10-3 on the year. The Cardinals host Almond-Bancroft (Almond, WI) to play the Eagles in a Central Wisconsin - South game on Monday, May 11. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 14-1. Almond-Bancroft won 5-1 in their recent non-league game against Adams-Friendship (Adams, WI)
