Ohio High School Softball - Point Pleasant bounces Wellston

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks softball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Wellston Golden Rockets.

The Big Blacks (19-7) will now prepare for their match against Nitro (Nitro, WV). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 7-19 record. In their last match, Nitro gained a win over Clay County (Clay, WV), 14-6, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Golden Rockets battle the Athens Bulldogs (The Plains, OH) in a Tri-Valley - Ohio match, on Monday, May 11. Wellston will attempt to better on its 17-7 season record.
