Father McGivney Catholic Griffins (Glen Carbon, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Nokomis Redskins (Nokomis, IL), 11-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Father McGivney Catholic upgrades its record to 26-3 on the season. The Griffins travel to Newton (Newton, IL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 10. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 21-5. Newton won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against St. Anthony (Effingham, IL)
