May 9, 2022: Naugatuck, CT 06770 Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Litchfield Cowboys (Litchfield, CT), 11-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Naugatuck upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Greyhounds host Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT) to battle the Crusaders in a Naugatuck Valley - Copper test on Wednesday, May 11. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 7-6. Holy Cross lost 11-1 in their recent league test against St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT)
With the defeat, Litchfield falls to 4-8 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT) to battle the Highlanders in a Berkshire test on Wednesday, May 11. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 9-2. Northwestern Regional lost 10-3 in their recent league test against Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT)
