May 9, 2022: Swampscott, MA 01907 The Swampscott Big Blue the visiting Stoneham Spartans baseball team by a tally of 6-4 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Big Blue now hold a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Peabody Veterans Memorial for a Northeastern - South bout on Wednesday, May 11. Swampscott will face a Tanners team coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA). The Tanners record now stands at 7-5.
Next, the Spartans face the Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, MA) in a Middlesex - Freedom bout, on Tuesday, May 10. Stoneham will attempt to advance on its 13-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 6-8 record after their 2-1 league win over Wakefield Memorial (Wakefield, MA).
