New York High School Lacrosse - Pearl River drops to Albertus Magnus
May 9, 2022: Pearl River, NY 10965 In Monday's league contest, the Albertus Magnus Falcons (Bardonia, NY) lacrosse squad routed the host Pearl River Pirates (Pearl River, NY), by a count of 19-4.
Coming up next, the Falcons confront the Nanuet Golden Knights (Nanuet, NY) in a Section I -A contest, on Tuesday, May 10. Albertus Magnus will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Golden Knights enter the contest with a 2-6 record after their 20-11 league loss to Nyack (Upper Nyack, NY).
The Pirates now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Nyack for a Section I -A contest on Tuesday, May 17. Pearl River will confront a Red Hawks squad coming off a 14-8 league loss to Tappan Zee (Orangeburg, NY). The Red Hawks record now stands at 11-5.
