May 9, 2022: Murphy, NC 28906 The crowd at Monday's league test between the Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) and the host Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC), saw Highlands's soccer squad triumph over Murphy by a count of 7-1.
The Highlanders now hold a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Swain County for a non-league test on Thursday, May 12. Highlands will meet a Maroon Devils squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC). The Maroon Devils record now stands at 13-2.
With the loss, Murphy drops to 6-7 on the season.
