New York High School Lacrosse - Eastport-South Manor overwhelms Bellport
May 9, 2022: Brookhaven, NY 11719 The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Eastport-South Manor Sharks (Manorville, NY) and the host Bellport Clippers (Brookhaven, NY), saw Eastport-South Manor's lacrosse team overcome Bellport by a margin of 19-12.
The Sharks (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Sayville (Sayville, NY). The Golden Flashes enter the Section 11 II challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Sayville edged Babylon (Babylon, NY), 8-2, in a league challenge.
The Clippers (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenport-Southold-Mattituck (Greenport, NY). The Porters enter the Section 11 II challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Greenport-Southold-Mattituck edged East Islip (Islip Terrace, NY), 10-9, in a non-league challenge.
