New York High School Softball - Scio Central bounces Alfred-Almond
May 9, 2022: Scio, NY 14880 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Scio Central Tigers (Scio, NY) and the visiting Alfred-Almond Eagles (Almond, NY), saw Scio Central's softball squad achieve victory over Alfred-Almond by a count of 12-1.
The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avoca Central for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 10.
With the loss, Alfred-Almond falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hornell (Hornell, NY) to face the Red Raiders in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 11. The Red Raiders enter the match with a record of 5-6. Hornell lost 10-3 in their recent non-league match against Letchworth (Gainesville, NY)
