Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA), 13-1 in a league challenge.

The Hawks now sport a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they host King William for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 11. Hanover will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 26-0 league win over Charles City (Charles City, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 14-1.
