Indian Lake Lakers (Lewistown, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lakers now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Versailles for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 11. Indian Lake will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 11-3 league loss to Fort Recovery (Fort Recovery, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 11-11.

With the loss, Shawnee falls to 14-6 on the campaign. The Braves host Tippecanoe (Tipp City, OH) to battle the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 10. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 2-7.
