May 9, 2022: Methuen, MA 01844 The crowd at Monday's league match between the Methuen Rangers (Methuen, MA) and the visiting Lawrence Lancers (Lawrence, MA), saw Methuen's softball squad achieve victory over Lawrence by a count of 24-0.
The Rangers now sport a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Andover for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 10. Methuen will face a Scarlet Knights squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA). The Scarlet Knights record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Lawrence falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Haverhill (Haverhill, MA) to face the Hillies in a Merrimack Valley - Conf 1 match on Wednesday, May 11.
