May 9, 2023: Wheaton, IL 60187 St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL), 10-2 in a league test.
With the win, St. Francis upgrades its record to 20-6 on the season. The Spartans host Marengo (Marengo, IL) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 10. The Indians come into the test with a record of 20-5. Marengo won 10-3 in their recent non-league test against Forreston (Forreston, IL)
With the defeat, Riverside-Brookfield falls to 16-8 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Thursday, May 11. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 14-13. Timothy Christian won 4-0 in their recent league test against Westmont (Westmont, IL)
