May 9, 2023: Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) and the host Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC), saw Lawrence Academy's soccer squad get by Halifax Academy by a margin of 4-3.
The Warriors now sport a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Oakwood for a non-league test on Friday, May 12. Lawrence Academy will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 11-4.
With the loss, Halifax Academy drops to 1-9 on the season.
