In Thursday's non-league test, the host Saugerties Sawyers lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-5 victory over the Wallkill Panthers.

The Sawyers now have a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Millbrook for a non-league test on Friday, May 10.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 11. Wallkill will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Goldbacks come into the test with a 2-9 record after their 8-6 league win over Middletown (Middletown, NY).
