The Westlake Demons lacrosse squad (Westlake, OH), was overwhelmed 12-5 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Highland Hornets (Medina, OH)

Coming up next, the Hornets meet the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) in a Region 5 challenge, on Friday, May 10. Highland will attempt to improve on its 13-2 season record. The Royals enter the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 15-8 non-league loss to Jackson (Massillon, OH).

The Demons now sport a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Green for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. Westlake will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-8.
