In Thursday's league contest, the Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT) lacrosse squad edged the visiting North Haven Nighthawks (North Haven, CT), by a count of 9-8.

Coming up next, the Gaels confront the Fairfield Prep Jesuits (Fairfield, CT) in a Southern Connecticut contest, on Monday, May 13. Shelton will attempt to advance on its 10-6 season record. The Jesuits come into the contest with a 13-1 record after their 21-8 non-league win over Boston College High (Boston, MA).
