Michigan High School Softball - Millington holds off Bullock Creek
May 9, 2024: Millington, MI 48746 Millington Cardinals (Millington, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bullock Creek Lancers (Midland, MI), 3-1 in a league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Clair for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10. Millington will battle a Saints squad coming off a 10-5 league loss to Marysville (Marysville, MI). The Saints record now stands at 12-7.
With the loss, Bullock Creek falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Lancers host Carrollton (Carrollton, MI) to battle the Cavaliers in a Tri-Valley - West I challenge on Monday, May 13. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 1-10.
