Delaware High School Softball - Caravel nudges Conrad Science
May 9, 2024: Bear, DE 19701 Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Conrad Science Red Wolves (Wilmington, DE), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Buccaneers now own a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cape Henlopen for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. Caravel will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Seaford (Seaford, DE). The Vikings record now stands at 13-3.
With the loss, Conrad Science falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Red wolves travel to Concord (Wilmington, DE) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 11-4. Concord won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Brandywine (Wilmington, DE)
