Minnesota High School Softball - Duluth East gets by Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin
May 9, 2024: Coleraine, MN 55722 The Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN) softball nipped the host Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin Raiders (Coleraine, MN), 7-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Greyhounds (2-12) will now prepare for their bout against Proctor (Proctor, MN). The Rails go into the non-league bout with a 15-3 record. In their last bout, Proctor held off Cherry (Iron, MN), 13-3, in a non-league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hibbing for a non-league bout on Friday, May 10. Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin will confront a Bluejackets squad coming off a 17-2 non-league win over Denfeld (Duluth, MN). The Bluejackets record now stands at 12-2.
