May 9, 2024: Pontiac, IL 61764 Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL), 11-10 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now sport a 22-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coal City for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10.
With the loss, Lincoln falls to 11-18 on the campaign. The Railsplitters host Champaign Central (Champaign, IL) to face the Maroons in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10.
