May 9, 2025: Mosheim, TN 37818 The Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN) baseball trounced the host West Greene Buffaloes (Mosheim, TN), 10-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Tornadoes now own a 26-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pigeon Forge for a 2A District 2 challenge on Saturday, May 10. Alcoa will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 16-10.
With the defeat, West Greene drops to 19-9 on the year. The Buffaloes travel to Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN) to clash with the Black Knights in a 2A District 1 challenge on Saturday, May 10. The Black Knights go into the challenge with a record of 18-12. Chuckey-Doak lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN)
