Wisconsin High School Baseball - Athens defeats Assumption
May 9, 2025: Athens, WI 54411 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Athens Bluejays (Athens, WI) and the visiting Assumption Royals (Wisconsin Rapids, WI), saw Athens's baseball team gain a win over Assumption by a tally of 10-5.
The Bluejays (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Prentice (Prentice, WI). The Buccaneers enter the Marawood - North battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Prentice was overwhelmed by Bruce (Bruce, WI), 9-5, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Royals face the Amherst Falcons (Amherst, WI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 10. Assumption will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 11-5 record after their 29-1 league win over Menominee Indian (Keshena, WI).
