Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL), 13-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Bishop McNamara moves its record to 19-6 on the season. The Fightin' Irish host Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL) to battle the Comets in a non-league match on Saturday, May 10. The Comets come into the match with a record of 21-3. Newman Central Catholic won 21-3 in their recent league match against Kewanee (Kewanee, IL)

The Kays now possess a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clifton Central for a non-league match on Monday, May 12. Kankakee will battle a Comets squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Grant Park (Grant Park, IL). The Comets record now stands at 10-9.
