The Marion Local Flyers baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host National Trail Blazers to 3 in the Flyers non-league win on Friday.

The Flyers now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Memorial for a non-league test on Monday, May 12. Marion Local will play a Roughriders team coming off a 4-3 league win over Kenton (Kenton, OH). The Roughriders record now stands at 11-6.

With the defeat, National Trail drops to 5-13 on the year. The Blazers host Fairlawn (Sidney, OH) to play the Jets in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. The Jets go into the test with a record of 3-15.
