May 9, 2025: Crystal Lake, IL 60014 Crystal Lake Central Tigers (Crystal Lake, IL) followers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL), 4-1 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Crystal Lake Central advances its record to 11-1 on the season. The Tigers host Maine South (Park Ridge, IL) to play the Hawks in a non-league game on Monday, May 12. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 14-2. Maine South won 12-7 in their recent non-league game against Lyons (LaGrange, IL)
The Patriots now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warren Township for a non-league game on Tuesday, May 13. Stevenson will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 4-4 non-league Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-3.
