New Covenant Academy Warriors (Springfield, MO) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Liberty Eagles (Mountain View, MO), 8-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, New Covenant Academy advances its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Monett (Monett, MO) to clash with the Cubs in a Class 2 District 5 test on Tuesday, May 13. The Cubs come into the test with a record of 6-11.

The Eagles now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fair Grove for a Class 1 District 3 test on Monday, May 19.
