In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Portage Indians baseball team scored a nice 11-2 victory over the Lowell Red Devils.

The Indians (8-6) will now prepare for their game against Chesterton (Chesterton, IN). The Trojans enter the game with a 13-6 record. In their last game, Chesterton defeated Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN), 11-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Red Devils face the Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN) in a game, on Monday, May 12. Lowell will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Kougars enter the game with a 12-6 record after their 23-3 non-league win over Michigan City (Michigan City, IN).
