Iowa High School Soccer - West Central Valley nudges Carlisle
May 9, 2025: Carlisle, IA 50047 In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting West Central Valley Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Carlisle Wildcats.
The Wildcats (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against Creston (Creston, IA). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 10-9 record. In their last outing, Creston was edged by Kuemper (Carroll, IA), 5-3, in a league outing.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA) in a Raccoon River outing, on Tuesday, May 13. Carlisle will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 16-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA).
