Virginia High School Soccer - James Wood knocks off Warren County
May 9, 2025: Winchester, VA 22603 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA) and the visiting Warren County Wildcats (Front Royal, VA), saw James Wood's soccer squad triumph over Warren County by a count of 7-0.
The Colonels (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Millbrook (Winchester, VA). The Pioneers enter the Northwestern battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Millbrook tipped Sherando (Stephens City, VA), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Handley Judges (Winchester, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 12. Warren County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Judges enter the battle with a 13-1 record after their 6-0 league win over Skyline (Front Royal, VA).
