The Crab Orchard Trojans the visiting Tuscola Warriors softball squad by a count of 5-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Hamilton County Foxes (McLeansboro, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 10. Crab Orchard will attempt to upgrade on its 24-2 season record. The Foxes enter the challenge with a 12-12 record after their 8-4 league loss to Flora (Flora, IL).

The Warriors (13-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Red Bud (Red Bud, IL). The Musketeers enter the non-league challenge with a 17-6 record. In their last challenge, Red Bud edged Sparta (Sparta, IL), 6-0, in a league challenge.
