New York High School Softball - Monroe Early College
May 9, 2025: Yonkers, NY 10710 In Friday's non-league test, the Early College Sharks (Yonkers, NY) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Monroe Red Jackets (Rochester, NY), by a tally of 13-8.
Next, the Sharks clash with the Edison Tech Inventors (Rochester, NY) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 12. Early College will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Inventors go into the test with a 0-6 record after their 19-7 non-league loss to School of the Arts (Rochester, NY).
The Red Jackets (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Batavia (Batavia, NY). The Blue Devils go into the Class A test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Batavia held off Honeoye (Honeoye, NY), 19-4, in a non-league test.
