The Gibson Southern Titans softball squad (Fort Branch, IN), was edged 1-0 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Evansville Reitz Panthers (Evansville, IN)

With the triumph, Evansville Reitz improves its record to 6-10 on the year. The Panthers host Barr-Reeve (Montgomery, IN) to face the Vikings in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 10. The Vikings enter the contest with a record of 8-4. Barr-Reeve won 7-2 in their recent non-league contest against Linton-Stockton (Linton, IN)

The Titans now hold a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Washington for a Pocket contest on Saturday, May 10. Gibson Southern will face a Hatchets squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to Tecumseh (Lynnville, IN). The Hatchets record now stands at 1-14.
