In Friday's non-league test, the Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA), by a tally of 10-1.

Next, the Indians meet the Woodland Christian Cardinals (Woodland, CA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 14. Ripon will attempt to advance on its 18-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 20-4 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Colusa (Colusa, CA).

The Cougars (10-15) will now prepare for their test against Rocklin (Rocklin, CA). The Thunder go into the non-league test with a 19-5 record. In their last test, Rocklin toppled Whitney (Rocklin, CA), 14-3, in a league test.
