Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA), 1-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Granby improves its record to 14-4 on the year. The Comets travel to Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA) to play the Mighty Bookers in a Eastern game on Tuesday, May 13. The Mighty Bookers enter the game with a record of 1-11. Booker T. Washington lost 18-5 in their recent league game against Churchland (Portsmouth, VA)
