The Carroll Patriots (Dayton, OH) baseball trounced the host Madison Mohawks (Middletown, OH), 8-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 5-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Legacy Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 11. Carroll will clash with a Knights team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Archbishop Alter (Kettering, OH). The Knights record now stands at 6-8.

With the defeat, Madison drops to 12-10 on the year. The Mohawks travel to Bishop Fenwick (Franklin, OH) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 11. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 12-6.
