The Lincoln Lions lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the host Ponaganset Chieftains to 3 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Hope for a Division 3 outing on Tuesday, May 12. Lincoln will face a Huskies squad coming off a 19-3 league win over Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Huskies record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Ponaganset falls to 5-5 on the year. The Chieftains host Rogers (Newport, RI) to face the Vikings in a Division 4 outing on Tuesday, May 12. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 5-3. Rogers won 15-4 in their recent league outing against North Providence (North Providence, RI)
