June 1, 2021: Winston-Salem, NC 27105 The Carver Yellowjackets baseball team (Winston-Salem, NC), was overwhelmed 7-0 in Tuesday's league outing with the visiting Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC)
The Golden Eagles now hold a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salisbury for a non-league outing on Wednesday, June 2. Surry Central will confront a Hornets team coming off a 6-3 league loss to South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 5-5.
Next, the Yellowjackets confront the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a Western Piedmont 2A outing, on Tuesday, June 8. Carver will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Greyhounds go into the outing with a 5-6 record after their 4-1 league win over Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC).
