Iowa High School Softball - AGWSR loses to Columbus
June 1, 2022: Ackley, IA 50601 The Columbus Sailors softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host AGWSR Cougars to 2 in the Sailors non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Columbus moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Sailors host Union (La Porte City, IA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, June 3. The Knights come into the game with a record of 1-3. Union lost 12-9 in their recent non-league game against Oelwein (Oelwein, IA)
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, June 2. AGWSR will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The J-Hawks come into the game with a 8-1 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA).
