In Thursday's non-league contest, the Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) softball team held off the visiting Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA), by a margin of 1-0.

With the triumph, Saint Francis moves its record to 28-3 on the year. The Lancers travel to Hollister (Hollister, CA) to play the Haybalers in a non-league contest on Saturday, June 3. The Haybalers come into the contest with a record of 29-3. Hollister won 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Whitney (Rocklin, CA)
