Iowa High School Softball - Atlantic bounces Riverside
June 1, 2024: Atlantic, IA 50022 Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Riverside Bulldogs (Oakland, IA), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Creston for a Hawkeye 10 challenge on Monday, June 3. Atlantic will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Riverside falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA) to battle the Titans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 1. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 5-3. Lewis Central won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA)
