Iowa High School Softball - Assumption edges Bettendorf
June 1, 2026: Davenport, IA 52804 In Monday's league match, the host Assumption Knights softball team scored a tight 6-4 victory over the Bettendorf Bulldogs.
The Knights (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Davenport North (Davenport, IA). The Wildcats go into the Mississippi Athletic match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Davenport North tipped West Branch (West Branch, IA), 13-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA) in a Mississippi Athletic match, on Thursday, June 4. Bettendorf will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Lancers go into the match with a 1-4 record after their 5-4 league loss to Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA).
