In Friday's non-league contest, the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA), by a margin of 13-2.

With the triumph, Riverheads moves its record to 15-3 on the year. The Gladiators travel to Auburn (Riner, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league contest on Saturday, June 11.
