June 10, 2023: Oakland, IA 51560 Riverside Bulldogs (Oakland, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting East Mills (Malvern, IA), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Audubon for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 12. Riverside will face a Wheelers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over AHSTW (Avoca, IA). The Wheelers record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, East Mills falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The travel to Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league game on Saturday, June 10. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 7-11. Jefferson won 7-0 in their recent league game against Sioux City West (Sioux City, IA)
