June 10, 2025: Paullina, IA 51046 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Ridge View Raptors (Holstein, IA) and the host South O'Brien Wolverines (Paullina, IA), saw Ridge View's baseball team gain a win over South O'Brien by a tally of 16-1.
The Raptors (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA). The enter the Western Valley battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute was overwhelmed by Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA), 21-5, in a league battle.
Next, the Wolverines face the Gehlen Catholic Jays (Le Mars, IA) in a War Eagle battle, on Wednesday, June 11. South O'Brien will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Jays enter the battle with a 7-6 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Unity Christian (Orange City, IA).
