Iowa High School Softball - Winterset bounces Clarke
June 10, 2025: Winterset, IA 50273 The Winterset Huskies softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Clarke Indians to 6 in the Huskies non-league win on Tuesday.
The Huskies now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to A-D-M for a Raccoon River battle on Wednesday, June 11. Winterset will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 league win over Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, Clarke moves to 4-5 on the season. The Indians host Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA) to confront the Rockets in a South Central battle on Thursday, June 12. The Rockets come into the battle with a record of 4-7. Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont lost 10-6 in their recent league battle against Knoxville (Knoxville, IA)
